November: Pics & Tidbits

Holy buckeroos!
Monday will be our ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY!
WOO!

It's now December, and that means college finals for me, Christmas shopping, scraping frosty windows, decorating our little apartment for this wonderful season, and our much awaited
HONEYMOON!
We'll head up to Minneapolis to fly out for JAMAICA!!!!!!
(more details to come)

So just what have we been up to this past month of our wedded bliss?
A. TON.
It's been such a full month of events, activities, holidays EVERY weekend to keep our little stark white bodies busy awaiting our soon to be tanned/sun basking days...(i.cant.wait.)

We'll start from the beginning:

- First weekend of November-

November 5th of course. Dang he's cute. :)

Then came..................................................................................................................................

-The second weekend-
November 12th.
One of our friends is from Chicago, where one of his friends was recruited to play for the Hawks, soooo- since that player's family didn't commute to this particular game, Robert offered his two extra tickets to the newlywed couple as our wedding gift! SO, we zipped over to Iowa City and stayed with some of my greatest friends from high school, woke up early and tailgated with Alyssa's parents! (AWESOME food and fun!) Then headed to the game were we had seats in the NINTH (9th) ROW! They were literally flickin sweat on us......almost. ;)

told ya!

My favey-fave Hawkey :) Kirk!

Our wonderful IC hosts- Lys & Johnny!

-Third weekend-

November 18 & 19
I drug my husband, (that's a lie, he WAS more excited than I was for this weekend) to Minneapolis to my aunt and uncle's place for our annual TWILIGHT SAGA SUITE WEEKEND! Long story short, my aunt is a Twi-junkie and books this 'suite' at the top of the theater, where you take an escalator to the VIP suite behind glass, away from screaming teens, where the sound is pumped in, and you watch your flick from reclining lazy boys. TOTAL. BOMB. Yes, this is for Breaking Dawn. and again, YES, BEAU was stoked.

We start the day of the showing off by playing the prior three movies, this year was a first with a projector and sheet on the wall to blow the viewings up! To add to the craziness, cupcakes decorated to the Twilight colors. (Twilight has 'colors'?-yes) Black, silver, and red tissue poms, movie scene table cloth, movie poster, and all. It's redic.
don't judge. (the only blonde in the house/my ENTIRE side of the family = MY HUSBAND :) see him??????

this doesn't do it justice, and man- I need to learn to take pictures! Argh. We're in the corner on the upper lever, it's dark.

-The fourth and final weekend-
Thanksgiving-
Of course, the best weekend, I don't have a cotton-pickin SINGLE picture. :(
You know how it goes, food, naps, food, another nap, all day marathon of FRIENDS on dvd, scouring the BLACK FRIDAY adds, making your lists/mapping them out, and more food, and then another night nap because some genius changed the Target time to 12am. UGH.

HOWEVER, I DID attempt/make with the help of my grandma- make my very first PUMPKIN PIE evvvvvvvvvver. Beau's ultimate to die for favorite. His grandma before passing away earlier this year, would make Beau-Beau his very own pumpkin pie because let's be honest, can scarf a whole one down in one day. Then send another home with him for left overs through the week. I wanted to take the tradition over now that I'm his wifey, and thanks to my grandma--- BIG SUCCESS. He said it was his FAVORITE EVERRRRRRR EVER! NUTS huh!?!?!
fantastic, huh?? HAHAHAHA! I googled this one. Sorry folks. My crust caved in- fat chance!
